In 1831 we created Earl Gray tea in our shop on the Strand at the behest of the Prime Minister. He loved her so much that he named her after him. It wasn't long after they swept London and it's still a huge favorite among people who like things with a twist, who travel off the beaten path and don't always stick to the rules.

What does it taste like?

Classic Earl Gray. A delicate tea with a delicious touch of citrusy bergamot.

What makes this tea different?

We carefully select tea that is light, delicate and refreshing. It blends perfectly with the unique citrusy bergamot.
