The butterfly pea flower (blue tea) has been used for centuries in Southeast Asia and was more recently introduced to tea drinkers from its native region of Thailand. The flower boasts a long list of Ayuverdic properties and people love the bright blue color and the fact that it changes color to a beautiful purple when certain acids (such as lemon juice) are added.

Please note: The mineral content of the water source will affect the color of the tea. We recommend using mineral spring water to get the best color.
