La Labor coffee from Guatemala
Finca La Labor is one of the many coffee farms that spread in Guatemala, in the Ciudad region specifically. It is 70 hectares in size at an altitude ranging between 1980-1300 meters above sea level. It is managed by a man named Francisco, who comes from the fourth generation of a family that has known nothing but coffee cultivation since... Nearly eighty years.
For Chipsy - as he likes to be called by his friends - sustainability is important. Therefore, he dedicatedly sought to rehabilitate the farm and rebuild it, and he invested huge amounts of money through which he was able to preserve the coffee trees and keep the agricultural environment vibrant.
It achieved remarkable success in making it a center for training emerging farmers in coffee processing. The center hosted the first international coffee processing course in 2020 AD and has been offering educational courses since then.
This crop was treated with the dried method and the result after roasting was a mixture of sweet and fruity overtones suitable for espresso and distillate drinks.
