Haima coffee from Yemen
At an altitude ranging between 1800-2400 meters above sea level on the road between the capital of Yemen, the city of Sanaa, and the port of Hodeidah, in a very unique location among the heights of the mountains, the village of Al-Masn’a is located, where the coffee farm of the Al-Mikhlafi family is located.
From the good fortune of the farmer, Mr. Mohammed Al-Mikhlafi, and thanks to the availability of water sources that supplement the irrigation system in force on the farm; One of the major challenges faced by farmers in Yemen is water shortage.
It is worth noting that this crop is an experimental project that was cultivated for the first time in Yemen by fermentation, where the coffee is placed in tanks after picking and dried under the shade, and the result was really impressive.
